Wingaroo Adventure (www.wingaroo.com) is an online game for children aged 5-12.
The players assume the role of an avatar, explore the island, customize the avatar's looks, buy clothes, purchase and decorate the avatar's home. A user can also follow the in game Story, unlock new quests and adventures, play through day & night cycles and solve puzzles.
The game is developed in Flash and browser-based, running on Windows, Linux and Mac OS and it was developed entirely by the Mount Software Team as its own IP.
Virtual Environment Overview (VEO) is an interactive solution for urban management and analysis, engineered, developed and implemented as a Mount proprietary software.
VEO consists of a 3D graphic engine that reads and manages a map build by us using the ground data.
Veo combines spatial data with tabular information to provide its users with a visual tool, enabling them to perform intuitive reports for regional planning and management facilities. The interface is interactive and user friendly and this is a result of integrating geo mapping technology with operational database, allowing users to navigate and to retrieve information via a map. Last but not least, the VEO platform comes with a thorough database containing relevant information about the building tailored on specific needs.VEO uses accelerated 3D graphics to support 3D scenes represetation and offers the possibility to connect to a database in order to map detailed information to each entity inside the 3D model. Developed in Java, VEO has the advantage of being platform independent, offering the same features on all desktop platforms while deployed as a web application. It is also designed to be very easy customisable, dependent on the customer needs.
A business networking app, it lets the user discover useful people around him that are attending the same event. To use Acquaint, people have to register with a new account or connect using their LinkedIn profile. Once this is done, the app will show the upcoming events that can be filtered by location, date, domain, etc. Anyone can create an event, it is not a tool aimed at organizers only. After joining an event, the user will be able to see what other people will also be attending, and get in touch with them directly: add them as connections, send them messages. It is a very dynamic tool that allows people to get to know each other by creating same interest groups/ events. It was developed for iOS, Android and BlackBerry OS.
An interactive, visual menu that enhances standard printed menus and provides its users with a unique and innovative meal selection experience. With TapTap, guests can bring the artistry of each kitchen creation to their table before ever placing an order. By simply touching the vivid screen images, guests can have detailed menu item descriptions and chef recommendations for food and wine pairings at their fingertips.
An app developed for the National Convetion of Internal Medicine, its purpose is to allow the attendees to access all the Convention details, such as schedule, speakers, topics, as well as provide real-time information about the event (message from sponsors, most important aspects of a presentation). The app was designed for both iOS and Android.
Mount Software also developed 2 Augmented Reality prototypes: their purpose is to test the capabilities and readiness of today's mobile devices for truly embracing and make good use of the AR's advantages.
The first prototype is an AR location based app: it allows the user to identify on his device's screen geographical points, their direction and proximity, as well other persons; e.g. if someone needs to find his/her friend in a crowded place, the phone will show the location of that friend based on gps and point the users in the right direction.
The second prototype is meant to provide visual help in various domains such as mechanical training, interior design, and board games.
In this example, by placing several markers throughout a room, and using such a software, people can actually see how certaing pieces of furniture or decartion would look in that room, before buying them. Using a smartphone, the user can walk around the room and see the setup from every angle, because the objects are rendered in 3D, thus being spatially accurate.
Wingaroo Egg Rush is a reimagined version of the popular Nintendo Game & Watch 1981 title. The character has to catch all the falling eggs in the basket by tapping to the right corner at the right time.
